Elyments – India launches its first end-to-end encrypted Social Media App

Shedding light on the Digital “Atmanirbhar” Bharat, Sri Sri Ravishankar collaborated with Sumeru Software Solutions, and have come up with a new all in one social media app called “Elyments”.

Focusing on the level of privacy on this app, the main objective of it is to be a comprehensive social media solution.

In regard to the recent ban on the Chinese apps in India, the respect and requirement for data privacy and data ownership has become a topic that everyone seems to focus on and pay attention to more. The increased interest of the country in these is all thanks to the recent outrage against China.

There are 500 million social media users in the country and none of these social media companies has a headquarter in India, naturally, the Privacy of data remains the top priority.

The creators have paid close attention to developing the social media app in a way that all the data of the user stays in India and is never available to any third party whatsoever, without the complete and explicit consent of the user.

Grabbing our interest in it more, this new social media app has been given the tag of the ‘Super social media app’.
It incorporates the features of all social media apps which are highly popular. It has an inbuilt camera interface through which users can click their pictures, add filters, and share it on their news feeds.
It also has private/ group chats with the ability of free video and audio calls.

The app has been successful and has already achieved over 100,000 downloads and has plans to incorporate many more features in the upcoming months.

Formally, Elymets was launched today in a press conference which was conducted by the Vice president of India Sh. M Venkaiah Naidu.
The conference was attended by many dignitaries such as Baba Ramdev, Sri Sri Ravishankar, Jyotiraditya Scindia, and Ayodhya Rami Reddy, and other government officials.

The apps took into consideration the diversity of the languages and are available in eight languages.
It is now live on Google Play store as well as Apple App Store.
This app is seen as a massive boost in the Indian startups and technologies under the country’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. It is also a big push for the youth of India to come up with such original ideas themselves.
