OnePlus Z or OnePlus nord launch date in India

Oneplus has announced the launch of its new budget smartphone. Putting all rumours and speculations at rest, they have announced that they are working on a new budget-friendly smartphone that is set to launch in India and Europe. Pete Lau, the CEO, and co-founder informed the people through posting on the OnePlus community site. An Instagram account has also been created in this regarded and is called “OnePlusLiteZThing”. This has confirmed the launch date as July.

No more details have been revealed about the first smartphone in the new range. However, considering the rumours and the name of the Instagram account, it is most likely to be OnePlus Z.

According to Lau, just like the previous products and trying something new in the past, they will start small by introducing the new product only in Europe and India. He assures that there is no need reason to worry as soon they’re looking forward to introducing more affordable smartphones to North America shortly.

The new product team would be lead by Paul Yu, who is currently leading the Mobile development department. The team would compose new team staff from all over the world, as stated by the executive.

LAUNCH DATE: JULY

To create more hype, we have seen OnePlus create an Instagram account for its product. The account, however, is currently private. It also has four posts. The latest picture on the account is a Morse code which translates into “July”.

This is a clear message that the launch date is set for July.

There have been rumours floating around. These suggest that the launch would be on the tenth of July. The name of the smartphone is rumoured as OnPlus Z or OnPlus Nord.
Even though most of the facts are rumours, it is safe to take them until the company confirms otherwise.

NEW MOVES TO ATTRACT AUDIENCE

We have witnessed in the past that OnePlus has brought to us something affordable/ price friendly. The OnePlus X launched in November 2015 however, failed as a budget model by the Company.
This new move by then is most likely to be successful in attracting the consumers who were earlier avoiding the product due to its premium pricing.

TEASER BY COMPANY CO-FOUNDER

We also saw both Pete Lau and Carl Pei, the executives post a teaser on Twitter along with the hashtag #NewBegginings. This suggests the debit if the new affordable OnePlus phone.

The smartphone is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon seven sixty-five SoC and 30W fast charging.
It is rumoured to be under twenty-five thousand price range.

For Oneplus the introduction of Oneplus Z/ OnePlys Nord would be the true revival of OnePlus One that was launched at the price range of twenty-one thousand in India back in December of 2014.

We saw a tweet by the CEO Pete Lau “Who’s ready for something new from @OnePlus?” Along with the OnePlus logo.
The tweet also carried a hashtag #NewBegginings.

Lau’s tweet was further replayed by One plus co-founder Carl Pei.
He also posted a separate tweet on his profile. It read as “It’s time to rock the boat again.”
Pei’s tweet also saw the hashtag #NewBegginings.

The tweets by Lau and Pei however, don’t clearly state anything about the OnePlus Z or OnePlus Nord.
The texts and the hashtags however clearly state that it would be something new. This company had entered the smartphone world with its high value for money/ budget-friendly OnePlus one. In recent times, however, we have seen it making an entry in the premium market.

SPECIFICATIONS

If we focus on the rumours, the OnePlus Z aka OnePlus Nord would be available at a twenty – four thousand price tag. With 6GB RAM +128GB storage option. The phone is rumoured to have quad rears cameras, with a 64 – megapixel primary sensor. Further, it is rumoured that the new OnePlus would include a 4,300 mAh battery and 30W charging support.

The company hasn’t provided us with any sort of details regarding the new product. However, it is reported that it has been listed in the TUV Rheinland site recently along with the model number AC2003.
It has been speculated that it may be in the works as OnePlus 8 Lite. The reports, however, claim that it would debut as either OnePlus Z or OnePlus Nord.
This new phone is said to help in regaining the market that was left behind due to the selling of high – priced flagship phones.

OnePlus Z – DESIGN

In December of 2019. On leaks and 91Mobiles shared the renders of the budget-friendly phone from OnePlus. It featured a centred punch-hole display at the front. It had a dual – rear camera setup placed in a vertical module towards the left side of the back.

We also saw true – tech post a hands-on picture of a phone which was claimed to be the OnePlus Z. It revealed a similar design to the one which was showed off in the renders along with the in-display fingerprint sensor.

OnePlus Z – PROCESSOR

It was rumoured earlier that the new OnePlus will be powered by MediaTek processor – Dimensity 800 or Dimensity 1000 chipset.
A new rumour, however, suggested that OnePlus could also use Snapdragon 765G processor instead.

OnePlus Z – CAMERA

The renders of the new OnePlus suggest that it has a dual rear camera setup, we’ve heard some rumours claim that the device supports three camera sensors in the back and the primary camera would be of 48MP sensor paired with a 16MP ultrawide – angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera would be of 16MP selfie shooter.
Some rumours however also suggest that a primary 64MP rear camera would be on the new OnePlus Z.

OnePlus Z – BATTERY AND MORE

The new OnePlus Z could sport a 4m 000 mAh battery with the support of the OnePlus’ Warp 30T fast charging tech.
The device is expected to run Android 10 out – of – box with the company’s own OxygenOS 10 on top.
The screen of the phone is tipped to be a 6.4 inch AMOLED full HD + panel with a 90Hz refresh rate.
